This is the official website of Leeds Album Review Society.
My name is Charlotte, and I created Leeds Album Review Society in 2022. I had noticed that Leeds had very few music societies that everyone could join, regardless of their preferences or musical skill. I wanted to create a community of music-lovers wherein our diverse tastes can be shared, discussed and celebrated.
We host bi-weekly meetings to discuss a randomly picked album suggested by one of our members. So far, LARS has been a success, coming together in our end of year gig which showcased the talents of our incredible members.
This website is an extension of the society, a chance for members to submit album reviews of their own; it's a digital diary and a memento of musical passion.
